Huddersfield kids get their feet wet

Capita Registrars’ Huddersfield office has thrown its weight behind the efforts of a local environmental charity, the Greenstreams River Project.

Greenstreams project As well as organising groups of volunteers to help clear rubbish from the town’s river Colne, the project actively encourages local schools, such as Rowley Lane Junior School, to develop and maintain an area alongside the river.

The project also educates children about the environment and encourages schools to design and develop materials for riverside amenities with the aim of stopping waste materials reaching the water.
