Our general response includes three key points for consideration by the Commission, with reference made to the “comply or explain” regime, the way forward in implementing this regime and the creation of a sustainable, globally competitive business environment for EU companies.

ICSA’s general response encompasses improving governance practice through “comply or explain” engagement, the promotion of growth and impact assessment.

ICSA Registrars Group

ICSA Registrars Group’s general response covers their views on how best to implement the “comply or explain” regime. They also suggest that the Directive should be amended before introducing any further legislative measures in an attempt to reduce the perceived corporate governance failures by EU companies.
