HMRC Announcement - Save As You Earn bonus and early leaver rates adjustment

HMRC Adjustment (sharesave) for bonus and early leaver rates effective from 23 September 2011.

On 24 August, HMRC notified authorised SAYE (sharesave) savings providers of new bonus rates and early leaver rates for savings contracts.

The new rates (which are included in revised prospectus documents to be issued by HMRC on the 8th September 2011) will take effect from Friday 23 September 2011. Rates are reviewed on the occurrence of certain "trigger" events, in accordance with the mechanism set out on HMRC's website.

The rate for early withdrawal will remain at 0%.
